The A-Team was always the one show where I would suffer through the bad acting in order to get to the explosions. Of course, I couldn’t say that about the original trilogy, but… Well, I think you understand. YouTube user AluchePower asks, “What if Star Wars was The A-Team?”
My head nearly exploded with delight and memories, as this fan combined two of my favorite things into one amazing video. YouTube user kalleanka71 answers the question, “What if Star Wars was MacGyver?” This fan also has videos of Star Wars as Airwolf and Dallas.
Inspired by the above display of fandom, YouTube user TheCBVee dares to ask, “What if Star Wars was Magnum P.I.?” Shot for shot, it’s nearly perfect… now if only there was more mustache…
Here is a side-by-side comparison of the two intros:
I’d like to see a Star Wars sitcom intro… Like The Cosby Show, or Family Ties. What would you want to see Star Wars as?
Daft Punk fans are awesome. Just as ridiculously creative as the helmet-clad, French electro pop DJ duo they love so much. If you’re unfamiliar with Daft Punk, then I suggest you get familiar, and then feast your eyes upon the ingenuity of these fine fans.
Most of you reading this right now probably don’t remember what it was like without an online social network. Back when you had to use your mouth to speak words to other people. In fact, I’d wager that most of you don’t remember what it was like without cellphones. When you actually had to make eye-contact with people when you used your mouth to speak the aforementioned words.
These few songs were created by people who love their social networks. We at FanMadeDotOrg love our social networks. You can find us on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
If you could only live with ONE social network, which one would it be? Sound off in the comments.
If only these things were real. It’s the perfect weapon/toy. If it doesn’t kill you, it instantly cauterizes the wound… minimal mess.
Ryan Vs. Dorkman reigns supreme on this list, I think that is common knowledge to anyone who has seen them. There are plenty of others out there, so I’m only giving RvD2 a slot in my Top 3, but check out their first film at ryanvsdorkman.com
IAN ADDS: The finishing move on the 2nd video was sick. But the overall action, stunts, and intensity of the 1st video is amazing. Cheers! To those guys.
So, I stumble upon this guy Patrick Bolvin on YouTube. Outstanding visual effects artist, and clearly a fan of all sorts of toys. He does excellent fight sequences, dance choreography, lighting, camera work… he’s just plain good.
I had to dedicate a ‘Top 3′ list just to him for these three unbelievable pieces of work:
IAN SAYS: Pure genius. I think the 1st video is my favorite, I mean c’mon – Bruce Lee. But the camera movemnt in the 3rd video is creative and fast paced. It’s reminescient of the filming stlye of BSG – speciffically the space fight/flight sequences. Very good.
CRAIG SAYS: Hands down the best stop motion I have seen to date.
They can’t aim, they can’t see very well, they can’t hide in anything but snow, and who knows what has to happen for them to go to the bathroom. They’re Stormtroopers. The “crime prevention” or “rent-a-cops” of the galaxy, they are as brain-dead as they are plastic. I love ‘em.
These are my top 3 videos from YouTube about Stormtroopers. There seems to be a constant flow of Stormtropper videos out there, so it was hard to narrow it down to 3.
CRAIG SAYS: I have met a few cops in my time who missed their calling as Stormtroopers
IAN ADDS: The “COPS” parity is genius. It’s witty and pays attention to detail. I really appreciate the creativity.
It’s so catchy, the only thing that gets the Mario theme song out of my head is “The Song that Never Ends” or a swift kick in the face. Granted, I’d rather have the Mario theme stuck in my head for all eternity than to suffer either one of those alternatives.
These are my top 3 favorite Mario theme song renditions as seen on YouTube, however, there are hundreds and hundreds more. Well done fans.
IAN ADDS: While, the guy with the 2 guitars made me mildly jealous, the RC Car experiment blew my mind! I hope they do the Mortal Kombat theme song soon! (As to your might!)
