Superman Reborn

written by IanKelly on May 26

Here is another trailer from WormyT (The guy who made the Thundercats trailer which consequentially inspired this site.) This is not the best fan made Superman trailer out there BUT it’s one of ‘em! The concept is amazing and Darkseid looks sick!

My Place In This World

written by IanKelly on May 21

Who remembers that song, Place In This World? The chorus goes:
“I’m looking for a reason, roamin’ through the night, to find My place in this world. My place in this world.” (Single Tear)

Welp, this story is basically that idea but instead of Michael W. Smith, insert a Kryptonian.

Claws, Bub!

written by IanKelly on May 15

I remember, when I was a kid, feeling so inspired by Superman that I got my undies out and made myself a cape, in order to be like, The Man Of Steel.

Well… what your about to watch is kind of the same thing, only this fan was inspired by Wolverine. And unlike my cape, these suckers can do bodily harm!

LEVI SAYS: I would like to see a battle between Wolverine Claw Man, and the Star Wars Kid. YouTube exclusive. Make it happen Internet!

Turkish Delight

written by IanKelly on May 02

I am a huge Superman Fan! (So expect more from me as it pertains to the Man Of Steel.) However before you watch this video let me give a quick disclaimer:

Is it Superman? Yes. Is it quality film making? No. But it is Turkish. I think that just about covers it.

LEVI SAYS: This is one of those rarities of cinema, where you don’t have to make fun of it, it makes fun of itself.

Worlds Finest

written by CraigKuhns on Apr 15

If you were one of the people disappointed by the return of the man of steel in Superman Returns maybe you should be more disappointed that Sandy Collora is not going to be producing his vision of a Superman movie as seen in “Worlds Finest”

IAN ADDS: (fist shaking in air) Bryan Singer!! (single tear) How dare you?

LEVI SAYS: This is one of those things that makes me look forward to an imaginary date. Like entering the promised land.

My Name is Ian, and I’m a Fan. (Hello, Ian)

I remember, when I was but a wee lad, my dad buying a VHS of Return of the Jedi – I was never the same. It was like a beam of light shown down upon me and I was born anew. Ok, that is a bit dramatic but you get the idea. My imagination went crazy! Everything in my house became the empire and I was the lone defender of freedom. I was strong with the force. (Stuffed animals and G.I. Joe’s were flying).

Did it stop with Star Wars? – Absolutely Not. Next was Superman. If, Star Wars ignited the fire of imagination, Superman was NOS! I believed I could fly or at least that if I really tried to fly, I could. One day, I climbed onto the roof of my mom’s car and jumped off. I just knew that at any moment I would defy gravity and lift off.  I was so convinced of this that I decided not to put my hands down before hitting the ground, instead I let my forehead stop me. Blood and stitches ensued.

Superheros were the things dreams were made of. They represented, to me, everything right in life. They had purpose, integrity, power. They helped the weak and stood for justice. These elements are still very much apart of my life – now translated differently but still very real.

I could go on and on through many more stories – from my need for a Swiss army knife so that I could be exactly like MacGyver to the many wounds inflicted upon myself whilst practicing with my nunchucks and orange bandanna. Or digging up the back yard in order to unearth a mosquito like in Jurassic Park. (I was ambitious and really wanted a dinosaur) – but I won’t… at least not yet.

Suffice it to say, I am a fan because I enjoy everything about a great story – the adventure and intrigue. The magic and experience. And because the movies and characters I cherish stand for justice.

My name is Ian, and I’m a Fan.
