Clips taken from Footloose, The Breakfast Club, and Pretty in Pink were mashed together to create this fan-made music video to Lisztomania by Phoenix. This edit is so good, it caught the eye of Phoenix, and they call it “our best video”. This caught the attention of a lot of people when it got picked up by Rolling Stone.

I’m a big fan of Death Cab for Cutie. Brilliant songwriters, and excellent showmanship. This video, done by a fan of Death Cab, is completely stop animation, time-lapse, and live camera tricks. I can only imagine the amount of time it took Ross Ching to create this, but I’m grateful, because I’ve already watched it 3 times in the past 10 minutes. Enjoy.

Painstakingly beautiful use of the Apple OS X interface, applications, and tools.

I think there’s a PC version out there, but I’m sure it stops half-way through with a blue screen and odd noises.
