The Call of Duty Drawn Out

written by LeviBethune on Jul 24

“Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” is our favorite game here at FanMade HQ. The sound design and story of the game are great, but we certainly favor the online play.

Some beautiful illustration and sound editing went into these 2 shorts, using audio found in the game.

WARNING: Graphic illustrated blood and violence; brief language. It’s war. People will get hurt.

Ian says: These are amazing works of fandom. It’s so intresting how they reimagined the “Wetwork” stage. I need to play COD 4 right now! Hoo-Ahh

The Wheel of Time

written by CraigKuhns on Jun 05

I am a huge fan of fan of epic fantasy and I think my favorite series of all time would have to be “The Wheel of TIme” by the late Robert Jordan (James Rigney). Before Robert passed away he wrote eleven books full of action, mystery, and political intrigue.

While reading I, like most readers do, build up mental images in my head as to what the characters look like. So recently when I was bored and had some time to spare (thats a rare moment) I found some fan made art. Below are my three favorite pictures, depicting Rand, Mat, and Perrin, the three boys the whole series revolves around.

That Pretty Much Sums It Up

written by LeviBethune on Jun 04

This reminds me a lot of the Sweded versions of films, but instead of putting too much work into it, this site only dedicates 3 drawings.

Here’s the best version I’ve seen of Lord of The Rings in a long time:

3 Frame Movies isn’t going to give you the thrill of elaborate chase scenes or the intrigue and mystery of trying to find the villain. It certainly won’t give you the satisfaction of realizing the state of the human condition through the complex character development that takes place over the course of 90 minutes of film. But who has time for that anyway?

My personal favorites on their list of movies:

  • Star Wars (of course)
  • Back To The Future
  • Jurassic Park

Learn Your ABCs with Star Wars

written by LeviBethune on May 04

This is a special MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU post.

This set of very cheerful Star Wars art is blowing my mind up. I want to get a set of these for my son when he learns to read.

Made by American artist Michael Fleming, the Star Wars ABC series boast his artistic style of clean, colorful and vibrant illustrations.

My favorite, I think, is the letter B, for Bantha. Click here to see the whole alphabet on Flickr.
