*“Bimmer” is the correct nickname for the four-wheeled Bavarian Motor Werks vehicles, and the oft-misused “Beamer” moniker is reserved for the motorcycles manufactured by the same company. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
Ok, so the title is full of cheese, but this following “remix” is full of amazing editing and transformative storytelling.
Jonathan McIntosh took Edward Cullen from Twilight and introduced him to Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Absolutely genius. And Jonathan, who goes by rebelliouspixels on YouTube, must know the Buffy series like the back of his hand after this feat of editing.

The A-Team was always the one show where I would suffer through the bad acting in order to get to the explosions. Of course, I couldn’t say that about the original trilogy, but… Well, I think you understand. YouTube user AluchePower asks, “What if Star Wars was The A-Team?”
My head nearly exploded with delight and memories, as this fan combined two of my favorite things into one amazing video. YouTube user kalleanka71 answers the question, “What if Star Wars was MacGyver?” This fan also has videos of Star Wars as Airwolf and Dallas.
Inspired by the above display of fandom, YouTube user TheCBVee dares to ask, “What if Star Wars was Magnum P.I.?” Shot for shot, it’s nearly perfect… now if only there was more mustache…
Here is a side-by-side comparison of the two intros:
I’d like to see a Star Wars sitcom intro… Like The Cosby Show, or Family Ties. What would you want to see Star Wars as?
Clips taken from Footloose, The Breakfast Club, and Pretty in Pink were mashed together to create this fan-made music video to Lisztomania by Phoenix. This edit is so good, it caught the eye of Phoenix, and they call it “our best video”. This caught the attention of a lot of people when it got picked up by Rolling Stone.
I love watching a good movie trailer. It’s almost like watching a movie with no time to spare. A good movie should always tell a story, have good pacing, and leave you wanting more. That is what a good trailer does, except a trailer does it in less than 3 minutes and leaves you wanting much more. In the time that it takes you to pop your popcorn, the story has been told.
When the latest(and greatest?) Bond movie was teased, I couldn’t get enough of the trailer. It was edited brilliantly, told the story of a fresh Double-0 agent who is trying to find himself, all while trying to uncover the mystery behind a threatening organization. The movie itself is a healthy representation of what you can expect from the trailer.
And this, my fans, is a healthy representation of what it should be like every time a fan gets excited about the things they love.
I use computer software all the time in my job, and often times it’s high-end production software made by Adobe.
How is a fan of high-end creative computer software going to celebrate their fandom? By laying down for a nap.
Created with no affiliation with Adobe, My Suite Stuff is offering the entire ‘Creative Suite Pillow Set’ for $80. You can buy individual pillows for $15 each, but we all know that After Effects works best when you’ve got Photoshop to go along with it. And how are you going to use InDesign without Illustrator? Flash and Dreamweaver are BFFs, so just get the whole set.
It’s just too bad there’s no educational discount.
IAN ADDS: It actually gets funnier the more I watch it. On a side note: The “general” talking with Lord Vader is none other than Walter Donovan – the villain in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. “He chose… poorly.”
