“Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” is our favorite game here at FanMade HQ. The sound design and story of the game are great, but we certainly favor the online play.
Some beautiful illustration and sound editing went into these 2 shorts, using audio found in the game.
WARNING: Graphic illustrated blood and violence; brief language. It’s war. People will get hurt.
Ian says: These are amazing works of fandom. It’s so intresting how they reimagined the “Wetwork” stage. I need to play COD 4 right now! Hoo-Ahh
Some people celebrate the birth of a child with a cigar and then others do this…
“I’ve always been a fan of the Transformers,” Tom Rhoads stated to the crew at mim. “And when my son was born I decided to make the statue.”
The statue stands at 18 feet tall and built from a used Volkswagen, yes that’s right a used Volkswagen, in this economy who can afford to chop up a new Camaro and besides some of us liked the cartoon characters better!
The statue took him and a friend a year to build in their spare time. A crane had to hoist the 1200 lb robot onto its feet after the welding was completed. Its legs are made of steel and angle iron to keep it secure.
Product developer and designer Lauren Milroy gives you a new perspective on the summer flip flop. With the use of colored pencils, leather straps, and some genius, she creates a fanciful pair of shoes. It’s a beautiful rendition coming straight from the coloring box.
As some of you may know Warner Bros. has been getting everything together for a Green Lantern movie. A budget has not been set but the Lantern now has a face. And that face happens to belong to none other than Deadpool Ryan Reynolds. (I was kind of hoping for the guy from Alias. You know the reporter dude that always gets beat up.)
Here is a fanmade pic of what Reynolds could look like in his new do.
“The ribbing on the drink holders reminded me of solar panels. That instantly registered ‘TIE fighter’ in my head.”
That’s a quote from Wired contributing photographer Dan Winters. The whole story, and run-down of materials used, is on Wired.com. Winter’s craft project has spawned a full-on challenge for Wired readers. They challenge you to build something creative (and geeky of course) completely out of Starbucks swag.
Is it a go? Christian Bale said he would not do it unless Chris Nolan is directing. Chris Nolan said he will not do it unless he has the right story. What does this mean? Batman 3 is a done deal!
Here is a “not to shabby” fan made trailer for the next Batman.
Who do you want to see faceoff against “Bats” in the next insatlemt? Riddler? Penguin? A nasty combination of both? Sound off in the comments.
